yeah, magneto’s done some fucked off shit in his time

(though; i find it hard to condemn him for any of his actions against human kind. sorry, but the second they started sending out huge robots with the sole purpose of KILLING mutants, they opened up themselves to retaliation)

but look

magneto has saved loads more lives than he’s ended, and that’s what makes him a hero

I don’t like when people say they hope an X-Men First Class sequel doesn’t happen because Magneto and Professor X “aren’t friends anymore”.

Even though the complex relationship between Mags and Prof is what has always kept me coming back to the franchise, there are still so many other stories the universe has to tell, and so many characters that are just as interesting.

And besides, people act like those two never interact again, but that’s just not the case. Sure, they aren’t buddying around anymore really for the most part, but they don’t just stop being a part of one another’s lives. There may even be stretches of years where they don’t really communicate, but they can’t just write each other out of their lives. They still team up, talk, and even just hang out throughout the story.

I really want one of those little drawings of Magneto being all ‘kill ALL the humans 8’D’.

Somebody should make this happen. Or send me in the right direction if it already has.

this legit looks like the set up for a Maury show episode. especially with Charles angrily bobbing his head around and the subsequent guilty guilt face of guilt dramatic zoom in.

Charles: Shaw’s declared war on mankind on all of us, he has to be stopped.

Erik: I am not gonna stop Shaw, I am gonna kill him. Do you have it in you to allow that? (Erik pauses while Charles shifts in his chair uneasy) …You known all along why I was here Charles, but things have changed. What started as a covert of mission, tomorrow mankind will know mutants exist. Shaw, us, they won’t differentiate. They’ll fear us. And that fear will turn to hatred.

Charles: Not if we stop a war, not if we can prevent Shaw, not if we risk our lives doing so.

Erik: Would they do the same for us?

Charles: We have it in us to be the better man.

Erik: We already are! We are the next stage of human evolution, you said it yourself…

Charles: (cuts in) No, no…

Erik: Are you really so naive as to think that they won’t battle their own extinction? Or is it arrogance?

Charles: (looks at Erik in disagreement) I am sorry.

Erik: After tomorrow, they are gonna turn on us. But you are blinded because you believe they are all like Moira.

Charles: And you believe they are all like Shaw… (leans forward) Listen to me very carefully, my friend: killing Shaw will not bring you peace.

Erik: Peace was never an option.
